Luckies, Grand Rapids Michigan
What’s Left of The Plant, Flint Michigan.
I don’t normally tell stories that go with my photography. But this photo has meaning behind it. This was once a plant where my Dad once worked back in the days when GM was booming, back in the glory days of America, before things began to fall apart. Flint was once a booming town and now the areas where my Dad grew up or worked have been reduced to nothing. It’s beautiful in its memory, but sad in what you see. One can only hope one day the glory days of America would return, but lately one can’t help but be pessimistic.
